Many women are concerned about cosmetics when they become pregnant. If you are acne prone this becomes even more of a concern. All of our Roccoco Botanicals products are safe for women who are pregnant and thinking of trying to conceive.
They only contain plant forms of Vitamin A which are safe to use during pregnancy. Even our acne products are not of concern and are botanical. We don’t use Benzoyl Peroxide or any ingredients which may be harmful.
The problem with ingredients is that there isn’t pregnant women lining up to expose their unborn children to risks, so any information we get is after the fact and a problem. Herbs have been traditionally used for thousands of centuries with very little issue. Those herbs which are a risk are well known and avoided. We choose herbs that have a strong history of safety with pregnancy and lactation.
