Are you using lemon juice on your skin as a treatment?

Lemon juice is very acidic. It has a pH of a 2. Which is 10 times more acidic than ph 3 and 1000 times more acidic than the skins pH on average.

Can you imagine putting this on your skin what the results will be?

It burns!! The number of clients who contact us regarding lemon juice burns are staggering. The clients are then left with these absolutely horrid pigmentation marks which they are desperately trying to get rid of.

Lemon juice has no place in any skin care. It’s flat out dangerous and damages the skin.
The darker your skin, the worse the pigmentation. If your Asian particularly, you will really have issues as your skin is finer and absorbs more of it.

DIY is not advised with skin care. Formulating is a science. It requires thorough understanding of the skin as well as chemistry.

Keep that lemon juice for your lemon meringue pie. It will be far better appreciated.
